>Miss Courtney

Courtney Eierman originally grew up, trained and competed in Atlanta, GA. She graduated in 2013 from the University of Central Florida with a major in business management and a dance minor. During her college years she founded the largest dance organization at the University of Central Florida, The Knights and Damsels Dance Company. She has taught, choreographed and performed throughout Florida and has been with Performer’s Edge since 2010. She has a passion for dance and loves to challenge and push students to their fullest potential.

>Miss Amie - Owner/Director

Miss Amie grew up in Tewksbury Massachusetts where she trained at the Donna Miceli Dance Center for fifteen years. In addition to her local training, Amie received a scholarship to study under the direction of many renowned choreographers at the Jeannette Neill Dance Studio in Boston. Amie went on to receive a bachelor of arts degree in dance from Point Park University in Pittsburgh, PA. After graduating college, Amie went on to perform for Disney Cruise Line, Sesame Street Live, and Walt Disney Entertainment. In 2003 Amie's childhood dream came true when she opened Performer's Edge Dance Center. She is so happy to bring dance to the Davenport/Four Corners Area. Amie loves to teach her own passion of dance and performing onto  her students and she is so proud to see her dancers grow not only to be well trained dancers and performers but most importantly amazing individuals. Amie's choreography has won numerous awards at both the regional and national competitive level. Her students have won numerous scholarships, received specialty awards, performed on cruise ships and more. Amie resides in Davenport Florida with her husband Jim and they are the proud parents of Zoe Grace Hollborn.

>Miss Mandy

Miss Mandy is originally from Sewell, NJ and began her dance training with Dance! by Debra DiNote. She was a member of the Dance! Workshop Company where she had the opportunity to perform at various venues, including Carnegie Hall and Walt Disney World, dance competitions, local area churches. Mandy graduated from the Southern New Jersey Academy of Performing Arts.  While attending this unique performing arts high school she studied with David Kloss, a founding member of the Pennsylvania Ballet. She performed in many SNJAPA productions including ballets, “A Christmas Carol” and “Beauty and the Beast”. Mandy graduated with honors from The University of the Arts, Philadelphia, PA, in 2007 and holds a BFA in Dance Education with a concentration in Ballet.  Mandy also received the Outstanding Student Teacher Award from the Dance Department of the University.  Mandy previously educated students at Kathy Henkel’s School of Dance and at Philadelphia’s Creative and Performing Arts High School prior to moving to Florida.  Mandy now lives in Celebration, Florida and also works for Walt Disney World Entertainment. This is Mandy’s 5th year at PEDC and she loves teaching her budding ballerinas and watching them grow thru the years!  In addition to teaching classes, she also choreographs and works with the younger members of the PEDC Company and Competition Teams.  Mandy is very happy to have found her PEDC Family!

>Miss Alyssa

MISS ALYSSA grew up dancing along with Miss Amie at the Donna Miceli Dance Center in Tewksbury Massachusetts. Alyssa danced with the "Kid Co." and "Youth Dance Company" during her training at DMDC. At the age of 16 she graduated from the Teacher Preparation Program and started her career as a teacher and choreographer at DMDC. Alyssa has trained with Tap Masters such as Gregory Hines, Brenda Buffalino, Barbara Duffy and Julia Boynton. She has traveled the country for Tap conferences to further her training on a number of occasions. Alyssa moved back to Florida in 2010 to teach for Miss Amie and has enjoyed every minute of it. She loves teaching at Performer's Edge because she can share her love of Tap with her students while dancing along side her sister again.

>Miss Leah

MISS LEAH comes to PEDC from Naples Florida where she was an instructor for Tracee's Dancin' Starz. She moved to Florida from the Philadelphia area, where she taught at the Jane Lopoten School of Dance for 13 years. As tap dancing is her passion, she has performed with numerous tap companies including T.A.P (Teach All People) Company in Bethlehem, P.A. Under the direction of Nicole Hockenberry, She has used her talents as a dancer to bring joy to assisted living centers, and also to raise money for many charities. Leah has trained with noted "hoofers": Buster Brown, Savion Glover, Gregory Hines, Jason Samuels Smith, Jimmy Tate, and Dianne Walker. She brings to PEDC her love of dance and crazy antics that have made many students laugh.

>Miss Deanna

MISS DEANNA is originally from Kissimmee, FL. She has been dancing since the age of 4 in all types of dance including Jazz Ballet, Tap, Acrobatics, Hip Hop, Pointe and Modern. Most recently Deanna just finished her 5th season with the Orlando Magic (NBA) Dance Team. Through the Magic she is currently in the 2009 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Magazine, was featured on the T.V. show "I'd Do Anything" on ESPN, traveled the world and was team leader for 2 of these seasons. She attended University of South Florida for dance education and was part of the dance team "Sundolls". Deanna has also dance for the Orlando Predators (AFL) Dance Team, The American Gladiator Dinner Theatre, Masters of Magic Show, Walt Disney Entertainment, Carnival Cruise Line and has been teaching dance for the past 8 years. She also attended SUNY at Buffalo, Valencia Community College and University of Central FL to continue her education.

/TEACHERS

PEDC teachers either have their B.A. Degree in Dance from an accredited university or have several years in the field of

dance education. It is the philosophy of PEDC to have a well rounded staff that is fluent in the many disciplines of

dance. We take pride in knowing that PEDC students become versatile in all styles of dance.

>Miss Melissa

Starting at the age of four and choreographing by the age of fourteen, Melissa began her training in Ballet, Jazz, and Hip Hop in Miami, FL. She later began teaching at the age of 18 and moved to Orlando, Fl to pursue her career. Melissa has danced for many recording artists and has performed for FME Magazine, Miller Beer, Mc Donald's and Surf Expo worldwide conventions. Her appearances include T.V. Pilot "The Edj" at Nickelodeon Studios, opening act for Regina Bell, TOK, Three Six Mafia and TPain. In addition she was the choreographer for Orlando’s National Indoor Football League known as “Ghost Riders” for their 2006 season and recently choreographed for FSU's Golden Girls. Melissa is now owner and founder of Underground Dance Convention and continues to choreograph and teach throughout the country.
